Spirit shivers
This layer of life, from the ground to the treetops
is shining with spirits at work for their clans
Bird calls, beehives, flowers in unison
Meanings and messengers every one
What is spirit but thoughts and intentions
One made from many, fueled as desire
Signals and answers, watching and gathering
Bent on survival for all of their tribe
They listen together for danger or prey,
A forested circle cast in mind
The slightest movement is felt as though personal
Spirit shivers when a bird takes flight.
