Solandra maxima – Cup of Gold

• A very vigorous vine with huge yellow flowers. Native to tropical Mexico and Central America
• A member of the Nightshade family, it is probably poisonous. Notice how the leaves and petals in this photo are undamaged by isects or snails.
• Solandra is named for 18th century botanist Daniel Carl Solander
